Léigh tuilleadhLeigh níos lúThis study is intended to inform future discussion of Action 18 of the Government Policy on Architecture by establishing a relevant analysis of the facts of existing grant-giving. It emphasises that different amounts of funding can achieve different aims – from providing moral support to the owners of buildings of heritage value, through support for employment, skills diversification and material supplied, as well as keeping the weather out in familiar and cherished buildings.

It documents proposed restoration, conservation and maintenance works which have the objective of restoring the pre-existing character of the building.
