Re-pointing and structural repairs at ‘An Cabhail Mhór’ or ‘The Great Ruin’ in Killinaboy, Co. Clare through community workshops. A collaboration between SPAB Ireland, the Conservation Officer of Clare County Council and the Killinaboy Heritage and History Group
Restoration work carried out on wrought iron railing and gates for weigh bridge and cast iron weight scale.
This project aimed to connect members of the community with their local river, the Maigue and raise awareness of the natural heritage and amenity value of the river through environmental presentations and a kayaking trip.

Professional conservation and preservation treatment to 18th and 19th century letters and papers held in the Monksgrange Archives. The items for treatment were selected by a consultative team including historian/achivist Dr. Philip Bull, paper conservation specialist Susan Corr and archives manager Jeremy Hill.
A tax-incentive scheme, modelled on the Living City initiative could play a major role in revitalising those towns, and deliver thousands of habitable dwellings for homeless families and workers.
