In celebration of our award-winning Traditional Farm Buildings Grant Scheme, recently honoured with a European Heritage / Europa Nostra Award and named one of just five Grand Prix winners across Europe, we’re proud to present:
Reading the Rural Landscape Art Exhibition at the Europa Gallery, 11 Chatham Street, Dublin, D02 VP46.
This exhibition showcases the results of Mark Price’s nationwide survey of traditional farm buildings supported by the Grant Scheme, delivered in partnership with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Through a series of illustrations, Mark explores how these structures relate to their surroundings and how Ireland’s rural landscape has been shaped by generations of farming, creating enduring patterns of settlement and enclosure.
