Join us for a guided tour of the historic Heritage Council headquarters this Culture Night, with a special performance by local actor Rosey Hayes on growing up as a child here.

Join us at the Heritage Council this Culture Night for a journey through time, where we’ll whisk you all the way back to the 1300s when our building was constructed.

We’ll take you on tour where you’ll hear about the building’s past residents, and its journey from ruination to the impressive structure that stands before us today.

For one night only, you can also find out what life was like for a child growing up in this historic building through a special performance with local actor Rosey Hayes.

There are two time slots available for the event: 7:00pm and 8:00pm

Event duration: Approximately 30 minutes

Please note that this event involves a performance. Attendees should be advised that if they arrive after the performance start times, 7pm and 8pm, they will not be allowed to enter for that part of the event.

Directions

Access to our headquarters is gained via Church Lane. Church Lane is the laneway surrounding St Canice’s Cathedral and can be accessed via Dean Street. Eircode R95 X264.

Parking

Please note that parking is NOT available at the Heritage Council HQ. If you are attending the event, we recommend that you park on Dean Street or at the Market Cross multi-story car park.
