The overall objective of the PEACEPLUS Programme will be to build Peace and Prosperity and ensure that this Programme will leave a lasting and tangible legacy across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.
€1.1bn broken down into 22 funding streams of which some are relevant to heritage actions over 7 years.
The Programme area includes Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland, namely Counties Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Louth, Monaghan and Sligo. Applications including partners outside of the Programme area can be considered if they benefit's occur within the Programme area.
All partners should have the capacity and knowledge in the project subject area to participate fully and to deliver the products and / or services. All partners need to have the administrative and adequate resources required to participate in a PEACEPLUS project.
All projects are required to provide supporting documents required by the SEUPB Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat, First Level Controllers, or Auditors.

All projects must have a cross-community and cross-border collaboration element, and they must be able to demonstrate peace impacts. Collaboration is a key requirement for PEACEPLUS funding. They must also meet the stream criteria which is stream dependant.
