The innovative research projects will support policy and decision-making addressing environmental, climate change and sustainability challenges.
All applications must be made using the EPA’s Online Grant Management and Application Portal (https://epa.smartsimple.ie) in advance of the deadline.
Proposals should address at least one of the topic areas in the Technical Description Document and are marked on a scale of 0 to 3,000. The ratings available for each evaluation criterion are available on the online evaluation form. To proceed to the second stage of the evaluation process proposals must achieve a minimum average score across each evaluation criterion and achieve a minimum total score.
