49 new Heritage Specialists for our Heritage in Schools Panel

The Heritage Council welcomes 49 new Heritage Specialists to the existing Heritage in Schools panel for the next four-year term (2024-2027).

The new panelists, including 9 fluent Irish speakers, will join with the existing members to create a panel of approximately 150 highly skilled professionals covering a very diverse range of topics.

Topics new to the scheme include maritime heritage; wool and fibers; milling and historical food preparation; Cork’s Jewish history and culture; heritage through LEGO; blacksmithing and much more!
