The Puffin Rock Wildlife Activity book is filled with games and outdoor activities to help children to engage with nature. Investigate Ireland's unique biodiversity and make nature art. Available in Irish and English, we hope it will inspire young readers to continue to explore, enjoy and protect our wonderful wild World.
Puffin Rock Habitats exhibition is an exploratory journey for young children and families through four enchanting habitats - Marine, Intertidal, Grassland and Wetland. This immersive learning experience is led by the beloved Oona and Baba who introduce you to the rich diversity of plants and animals on Puffin Rock, and the intricate relationships within and between each habitat.
As you explore each habitat, you'll uncover exciting sensory surprises! Each habitat holds hidden adventures and activities through which we better understand what makes these places "happy homes" for all the plants, animals and also visitors like us!
In 2024 the Puffin Rock Habitats exhibition will tour venues in Counties Kildare, Kilkenny, Cork and Waterford. In 2025, it will tour venues in counties Dublin, Wicklow, Armagh and Galway.
The touring exhibition is also a recipient of funding through Creative Climate Action, an initiative from the Creative Ireland Programme funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media in collaboration with the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications.
