Head of Communications & Public Affairs
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The main duties of the role include but are not limited to:
• Lead the Communications Team to promote the activities of the Council, both internally and externally and act as custodian of the organisation’s profile, image and perception.
• To optimise and lead the delivery of the Council’s objectives through the development of strong and effective relationships with all stakeholders and specifically the heritage sector.
• To promote interest, knowledge and pride in the national heritage and to facilitate its enjoyment and appreciation in accordance with The Heritage Acts 1995 and 2018 and The Heritage Council’s Strategic Plan.
• To prepare and deliver a Public Affairs Strategy.
