NBDC launch On-line Data Submission Forms

The National Biodiversity Data Centre (NBDC) is pleased to announce the launch of its new On-line Record Submission Form at: http://records.biodiversityireland.ie

If you're out and about and spot a mammal, bird, insect or something else of interest ... log on to the site and have it recorded! NDBC hopes this online form will encourage the submission of casual records by members of the public. There are two options for recording species observations within certain taxanomic groups. Observations can be recorded via a ‘Species Form’ or via a ‘Site Based Form’. The form will also provide stats on the number of records received by group, county and day. Records submitted by you can be downloaded to an Excel sheet.

Further information is available under ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ http://records.biodiversityireland.ie/faq.php and feedback can be directed toinfo@biodiversityireland.ie
