IWT National Newt Survey Training Day

This training day is part of the National Newt Survey being run by the Irish Wildlife Trust. The training is for volunteer surveyors and will cover topics such as amphibian ecology, smooth newt identification and survey techniques as well as field recording skills. This will be followed by a fieldtrip to a water body nearby for a practical demonstration of the survey techniques.
