Fáilte romhat chuig Tírdhreach
In ionad athrá a dhéanamh ar fhianaise an ama atá caite, tá sé ar intinn ag an gComhairle Oidhreachta fís a leagadh amach do thírdhreach na hÉireann sa todhchaí. De réir Acht Oidhreachta, 1995 [pdf 96kb], áiríonn ‘tírdhreach’ limistéir, suíomhanna, caol-léargais agus gnéithe a bhfuil spéis suntasach sárscéimhe, seandálaíochta, geolaíoch, stairiúil, éiceolaíoch nó eolaíochta eile ag baint leo. Is í ár bhfís go mbeadh tírdhreach na hÉireann ina thírdhreach fuinniúil, beo a dhéanann freastal ar riachtanais spioradálta agus fisiciúla na ndaoine, in éineacht ar riachtanais an nádúir ar bhealach comhchuí, agus leasa fadtéarmacha a thabhairt dóibh araon dá bharr.
