Valuing Heritage in Ireland, The Heritage Council, 2007
In 2007, the Heritage Council published a new study on the value people in Ireland place on heritage. It shows that the public are becoming increasingly concerned about the need to safeguard our heritage. The vast majority of those surveyed agree that new measures and increased funding should be put in place as they are becoming increasingly concerned about the effect of development on our national heritage.
