Heritage Council

The Heritage Council seeks to protect and enhance the richness, quality and diversity of our national heritage for everyone. It works with its partners to increase awareness of our national heritage.

Statement of Strategy

The Heritage Councils strategic plan builds on the achievements of the Council since it's establishment in 1995. The plan lays down the Councils corporate vision for the coming years and sets out a clear path for the future work of the organisation.

Statement of Strategy 2007 - 2011

In this document you will find defined strategies and policy objectives. Underpinning the thrust of this Strategic Plan is the Council’s strong belief in the importance of working in partnership to ensure that Ireland’s heritage is accessible to and enjoyed by all members of society.
