Wild Child Poll: Quantitative Survey (2010)
This research, commissioned by Heritage Council, was undertaken in order to understand the types of activities that today's adults undertook as children, and the extent to which their own children undertake the same activities today. An agreed questionnaire was included in the Behaviour & Attitude July 2010 TeleBarometer. TeleBarometer is a nationally representative survey of adults 16+, with quota controls on gender, age, social class, region and area. The fieldwork took place between 20th July and 3rd August 2010.
Biodiversity Awareness, Understanding & Impact of its Loss (2010)
A Barometer Survey prepared by Martha Fanning for the Heritage Council. Market research was required to measure consumer awareness, understanding and interest in biodiversity. The research approach was an agreed questionnaire, measuring awareness, understanding and impact of its loss in the April No.2 wave of B&A’s 'Barometer' survey. Barometer is a nationally representative survey of the adult population, aged 16+, quota controlled on gender, age, social class and region to correctly reflect the known demographics of the Republic of Ireland. It comprises of 1,000 interviews. The fieldwork took place between 13th–22nd April, 2010.
How Do We Really Feel About Biodiversity Loss? (2008)
A recent Flash Eurobarometer survey on 'Attitudes towards biodiversity' asked EU citizens to clarify how familiar they were with the term biodiversity and with the concept of biodiversity loss. This survey gave some interesting insights into Irish attitudes towards biodiversity and it may offer some guidelines to Irish authorities on how to proceed with the implementation of policies and practices affecting biodiversity.

Valuing Heritage in Ireland (2007)
A report by Keith Simpson and Associates, Lansdowne Market Research, Optimize Consultants, and the Heritage Council. This study follows surveys carried out by Lansdowne Market Research in 1999, 2004 and 2005 for the Heritage Council on levels of awareness and public attitudes to our national heritage.
Report on Awareness of a Special Area of Conservation in Wales (2006)
This qualitative market research report looks at audience awareness of a special area of conservation in Wales. Its findings may be of interest to you if you are working in a rural area of Ireland on wildlife, nature conservation and/or public participation. It relied on focus groups made up of people from the area as the basis for the report.

Survey/ Policy Paper on Heritage Awareness in Ireland (2000)
