Heritage Council

The Heritage Council seeks to protect and enhance the richness, quality and diversity of our national heritage for everyone. It works with its partners to increase awareness of our national heritage.

Publications

The Heritage Council is a publicly funded agency with responsibility to propose policies and priorities for the identification, protection and preservation and enhancement of Irish heritage. The Council's objective is to make commissioned reports and policy documents available to the public in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. The Council hopes that they will provide a resource for interested parties for future projects and research. The reports are the work of their respective authors, and while the Heritage Council seeks to ensure that all information contained in the reports is accurate, the Council is not responsible or liable for the report contents.
