Fethard Planning Appeal

The Heritage Council has made significant investment (both capital and current expenditure) in the historic walled town of Fethard, Co. Tipperary, through the work of the IWTN since 2007. As per the strategic aim of the IWTN, this investment is in pursuit of the protection, conservation, effective management and promotion of Fethard as a historic walled town and a unique tourism destination for domestic and overseas visitors. This Observation is in line with the Heritage Council's statutory duties under the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2010.

APPEAL by An Taisce of Tailor’s Hall, Back Lane, Dublin against the decision
made on the 22nd day of October, 2010 by South Tipperary County Council to grant subject to conditions permission to Fethard GAA Club care of Bryan McCarthy and Associates of 9a Durands Court, Parnell Street, Waterford.
