National Planning Awards 2010
The Irish Planning Institute National Planning Awards 2010 will take place on Friday, 12th February 2010, at a Dublin based venue (TBC).
Sponsored by the Heritage Council and Tipperary Institute; the aim of the National Planning Awards is to illustrate the diversity and wide scope of planning activity today, and give recognition to successful and innovative planning strategies, schemes or developments, which make an outstanding contribution to the quality of life in urban and rural parts of Ireland. The winners of the Awards will also have the opportunity to be entered into the 8th European Urban and Regional Planning Achievement Awards, 2010. The IPI and the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government will present bronze plaques to the winners at the Awards Ceremony in February 2010.
For the upcoming 2010 Awards, there are 3 Award Categories as follows:
- Planning Achievement Award
- Planning Achievement in Conservation Award
- Planning Achievement in Participatory Planning
Please note entries are to be accompanied by an entry fee of €100 (voluntary groups are exempt from payment of fee), a written description of the entry, including tables, photographs and graphics, where appropriate and be no longer than four A4 pages; a Site Location Plan and a CD Rom containing the above and a completed application form.
The Closing Date for Entries is Friday 13th November 2009
