Under the Council’s grant scheme, grants are available to carry out approved conservation works to the exterior of farm outbuildings as well as associated structures such as historic yard surfaces, walls, and gates.

President Michael D. Higgins to launch Ireland’s BioBlitz 2012 in Phoneix Park
On Friday 18th May 2012, President Michael D. Higgins will launch Ireland’s BioBlitz at the Phoneix Park Visitor Centre. From soaring eagles to the smallest bugs in the undergrowth, over a 24-hour period, over 200 scientists and wildlife surveyors will assemble at four locations nationwide to participate in Ireland’s BioBlitz 2012.
