President Michael D. Higgins to launch Ireland’s BioBlitz 2012 in Phoneix Park
On Friday 18^th May 2012, President Michael D. Higgins will launch Ireland’s BioBlitz at the Phoneix Park Visitor Centre. From soaring eagles to the smallest bugs in the undergrowth, over a 24-hour period, over 200 scientists and wildlife surveyors will assemble at four locations nationwide to participate in Ireland’s BioBlitz 2012.
