The National Museum of Ireland - Country Life houses the National Folklife Collection - the objects associated with traditional everyday life in Ireland from the end of the Great Famine to the aftermath of the Second World War. The museum is located in the beautiful grounds of Turlough Park House, 8 km from Castlebar, Co. Mayo.
