Toisc talamh fhairsing a bheith thart air is deas an áit é le haghaidh lá saoire a chaitheamh ann. Is féidir stair an chontae a thuiscint ós na nithe seandálaíochta a bhaineann le tréimhsí ón gClochaois go dtí na Meánaoiseanna. Tá gailearaí culaithirte agus roinn tuaithe a ligean don chuairteoir gnáthshaol na feirme san 19ú haois a bhlaiseadh. Osclaíodh codanna nua 2006 a bhaineann leis an nGorta Mór, leis an eastát Farnham agus le Percy French.
