www.irishphotoarchive.ie has been built from an archive of over 2.6 million images dating from 1952. Many significant characters visited Ireland over the years and those, along with images of day-to-day Irish life, make the archive an invaluable photographic and historic resource.
The digitisation project is ongoing and eventually over 60 years of work and 60 years of Irish life will be made accessible to everyone through irishphotoarchive.ie
