Bealtaine Festival Events at the Butler Gallery

Organised in collaboration with Age & Opportunity as part of the nationwide Bealtaine Festival, celebrating creativity as we age, the Butler Gallery will be hosting a series of FREE events including:

Silhouette, Saturday 19th May from 12-4pm
An exploration of silhouettes and storytelling for children and their grandparents, grandaunts, granduncles, and grandfriends!

A Portrait of Imogen, Wednesday 23rd May at 11am
Take a peek at the documentary film on one of America’s most groundbreaking photographers, Imogen Cunningham (1883-1976), and her work ‘After 90’.

Have Your Say!, Thursday 24th May, from 11am-12:30pm
A workshop in collaboration with Barnstorm Theatre Company to train those interested in joining a critics group for art and theatre. Participants will then have a chance to utilize their skills at the Kilkenny Arts Festival. A coffee morning will take place on 24th May at 11am to share how you can get involved!
