Welcome to the Landscape Section, the Irish landscape is a living landscape in every sense of the word. It has and will continue to be used in an ever-changing variety of ways.

Landlifeweek - European Land Stewardship Week

The Land Stewardship Week is facilitated by all the Landlife partners but requires to be boosted by actions of individuals, organizations and institutions working towards the common goal of preserving the natural, rural and cultural heritage of our lands and sustainable use of all our natural resources: soils, forests, grasslands, waters, etc. Land stewardship is an emerging concept to involve society in nature conservation in Europe, participating in Landlifeweek positions your organisation to a process of European networking that enlarges your actions and efforts. Be part of it!

That is why we ask for your participation on the campaign, and to get involved in this special week by organizing events during these dates. You can either organize a specific event or include an event that you have already on your agenda. You can register your event through a very simple registration form and if you need any help do not hesitate to contact: info@landlifeweek.eu. Landlifeweek is possible thanks to a wide range of events, if you want to get ideas on the sort of events you can organize, visit our ideas bank.

You can register events during all summer, but if you are interested on participating we kindly ask you to give us your feedback before the 15th of July, so that we can analyse the impact of the campaign in the different European countries.

Furthermore, if you want to get involved in the week and help us to disseminate the initiative between your social networks, tell us and we will include your organization as landlifeweek collaborator, on the collaborators section on the website.

LandLife is a LIFE+ 2011-2014 Information & Communication Project cofunded by the European Commision.
