Corridor Studies: A Tool for Everyone

In November 2008 The Heritage Council hosted a seminar to progress the work of its Shannon Waterway Corridor Studies and to explore ways for all agencies involved in management of the Shannon to work together for the benefit of the river and its communities.

This seminar was aimed at local authority personnel (County Councillors, County managers, planners, environment section, heritage officers etc. state agencies, members of the public). Speakers included Ruth Delany, Parks Canada, the Heritage Council, NPWS, Shannon Development, Clare County Council and several more.
