The Beara Breifne Way Project
The Beara Breifne Way Project is an ambitious undertaking which will see the development of a walking and cycling route along the spine of the country, from Beara in Co. Cork to Breifne in Co. Leitrim. It follows the line of the historic march of O’Sullivan Beara in 1602.

Fethard Walled Town Medieval Festival 2008 took place on Sunday the 23rd of August in line with the launch of Heritage Week. The town held a diverse range of events which successfully appealed to all ages.

Irish Walled Towns Network (IWTN) Capital Projects Scheme
The IWTN Grants Fund aims to support the implementation of the suite of Conservation and Management Plans (CMPs) through capital works to conserve and promote historic town Walls and their settings.
