The Heritage Council seeks to protect and enhance the richness, quality and diversity of our national heritage for everyone. It works with its partners to increase awareness of our national heritage.

Museums & Archives Grants Programme

In light of current changes the Heritage Council is reviewing its grants schemes and will be proposing a number of changes to existing schemes for 2010.  Three schemes on Heritage Research, Heritage Management, and Heritage Education Community and Outreach will run  in  2010.  Work on the criteria and  application forms  is currently underway.  Further information on these will be available during September.
