Architecture Grants Programme
Please note in light of current changes the Heritage Council is reviewing its grants schemes and will be proposing a number of changes to existing schemes for 2010. Three schemes on Heritage Research, Heritage Management, and Heritage Education Community and Outreach will run in 2010. Work on the criteria and application forms is currently underway. Further information on these will be available during September. Please check back for further information or register for our online newsletter on the front page for updates.
Welcome to the Architecture Grants Programme section. This section outlines information and guidelines to the following Architecture Grants Scheme up to 2009:
Buildings At Risk Programme: The aim of the Programme is to safeguard buildings which are at serious risk, but are not yet in a ruinous state.
Significant Place of Public Worship Grant Scheme: The Heritage Council has allocated grant assistance to ensure conservation good practice, and the continuing appreciation and public enjoyment of the heritage place.
Special Conservation Grants: These projects are generally for substantial works to conserve properties that are accessible to the public.
Reps 4 Traditional Farm Buildings Grant Scheme: Grants are available to carry out approved conservation works to the exterior of farm outbuildings and associated structures. The closing date for the 2009 REPS 4 Traditional Farm Buildings Grant Scheme is 5pm Friday 3rd April 2009.
