Athenry celebrates its medieval history with a fun filled programme that will appeal to all.
The event in association with Year of Craft 2011 will highlight traditional crafts along with demonstrations of battle re-enactments, children's craft workshops and theatre shows, archery displays and falconry.
The day will showcase the 'Walls Have Ears Project' (supported by Galway Rural Development)in the Market Square with the finale in the Athenry Heritage Centre.
