Seed Savers Open Day August 12th!

We are delighted to announce that Joy Larkcom (Author of ’Life as a Garden Writer’) and Klaus Laitenberger (author of ’Vegetables for an Irish garden’) along with Trevor Sargent (author of Trevor’s Kitchen Garden will be our
guest speakers. All are well worth a listen, between them they have amassed a huge amount of knowledge on all things, garden, sustainable and green. All author’s will be doing book signings of their latest
books which will be available for sale on the day.
This is a great chance to see Irish Seed Savers Organic Seed Gardens,
Orchards and Woodlands at their best. We will have Garden and Orchard
Tours running throughout the day with Irish Seed Savers staff. We will
also have plenty of fun kids activities like wooden whistle making and
fuzzy bees as well as wonderful kids bug hunts.
Throughout the day there will be a farmers market, lots of stalls with
plenty of goodies. We will also have the usual organic food & craft
stalls, organic Café and homemade cob oven pizzas.
There will be live music and singers on the day and the sunshine is
booked (hopefully) so do join us for our coming of age celebration on
Sunday August 12th from 11am to 5pm.
