Kids’ and Teens’ Marine Biology Summer School
A summer school with a difference is being run by Marine Dimensions in Bray this year. Designed to be a real treat for any young person who loves the sea, the school introduces kids and teens to the fascinating subject of marine biology.
The courses include an in depth tour of the Sea Life Centre in Bray, with opportunities to get up close to a wide range of animals, including baby sharks, rays, starfish and giant octopus. Students also get a chance to discover nature outdoors with marine biologists, taking part in green activities such as shark eggcase surveying and dolphin watching expeditions. Teens also have the option of including additional outdoor activities in their course programme, including kayaking, snorkelling and even SCUBA diving.
