Arrow-Making Course - National Heritage Park

Date: Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th of October.
Time: 10am until 4pm each day

Due to the success of the fully booked bow-making courses, The Irish National Heritage Park is delighted to offer a two-day arrow making course with renowned instructor Mike Henderson. Mike is probably the foremost authority on traditional arrow-making and archery in Ireland. He is passionate about his craft and deeply knowledgeable about techniques and traditions worldwide. This promises to be a fascinating rediscovery of what was once a live-or-die skill for our ancestors.

Over the course of two days in the incredible setting of the Irish National Heritage Park you will make your own arrow shafts, heads and fletchings all made from techniques spanning from the stone-age and up, including the use of primitive glues. How to make a quiver, armguard and finger tab will also be demonstrated during the course.

Both course offer limited places. Book soon to avoid disappointment. Tel: 053 9120733 or visit www.inhp.com
