May 16th Dublin - Ireland’s only illustrated history magazine celebrates its 20th birthday with a special History Ireland Hedge School.
16th May, Wicklow- Come along to find out how to trace your Wicklow ancestors and learn a little bit about the history of the youngest county in Ireland.
23rd May, Trinity College, Dublin- Invited national and international experts and SIMBIOSYS researchers will deliver a series of presentations at the workshop.
2nd May, Newry- With changes being made to both planning systems in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, this aptly timed seminar will provide plenty of opportunity for lively open debate and discussion.
1 & 2 May, Wicklow- This workshop will involve the repairing a real ruin and progress the introduction of “Hot” lime mixes as a suitable mortar for the repair of Irelands heritage.
18th-21st April- The annual Waterford Festival of Architecture promotes awareness and understanding of architecture amongst the wider community as well as celebrating the architectural heritage of Waterford city and county.
1st May- Action for Biodiversity are hosting a one day conference about actively working postively together to achieve more for people and Nature.
27th April 2013- Kilkenny Archaeological Society (KAS) and The Rothe House Trust (RHT) are staging a conference to share recent summaries of knowledge on the interpretation of the House.
