Irish Research Council (IRC) - Employment Based Postgraduate Programme 2012
This programme offers researchers the opportunity to complete a Masters or PhD degree in UCD while employed by a private company or public organisation based in the Republic of Ireland. Applications will be accepted from researchers across all research disciplines. The duration of the award is between 12 to 48 months.
The IRC will pay a maximum of €24,000/annum. Of this amount, two thirds will go to pay the salary of the student, and one third can be used to cover fees and other research expenses. The employing company or organisation must also contribute to the salary cost of the student, who must be paid a minimum of €24,000/annum.
