Learn more about one of the greatest poets of the twentieth century on this guided tour. All welcome. Booking not required.

One day immersion course - Joyce for the non-Joycean: Introducing James Joyce

Want to prepare for Bloomsday 2012? This one-day immersion course in the library where Joyce loved to learn will introduce you to the man and his work. The course will be delivered by Dr Gerard Dineen.

Our multimedia exhibition Discover your National Library invites you behind the scenes to view amazing never-before-seen treasures from our collections, and hear from the staff that look after them. By using our innovative 'Discovery' touchscreen tables, you can zoom in on the detail of thousands of rare and beautiful items. This June, to celebrate Dublin City of Science 2012, Phase Four of the exhibition Particles of the Past will showcase a fascinating selection of science-related gems. From 17th century home remedies to early archaeological drawings to Captain Cook’s journal, this event is sure to awaken your inner Einstein. Free. No booking required.

DIT Graduate Students Exhibition 2012 FREE
Saturday, 2 June to Tuesday 26 June

Throughout June, we continue our tradition of hosting the annual Dublin Institute of Technology BA Photographic Exhibition at the National Photographic Archive in Temple Bar in association with the Gallery of Photography. The Exhibition features the diverse photographic projects of final year DIT students of art, design, media and innovation.

The Exhibition runs at the National Photographic Archive in Temple Bar until Tuesday, 26 June 2012.

This award-winning exhibition is a must see for all Yeats fans.
