Following on from the success of previous workshops held in counties Galway and Kerry, the Heritage Council is pleased to announce that the next event in this innovative series will take place in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The 'Heritage as an Engine' workshop series is generating an increased awareness of the opportunities for enterprise and business development based on Ireland's unique local heritage. The event will be of interest to heritage practitioners, business people, innovators and entrepreneurs.
The programme of speakers has been specially selected to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of Mayo's unique heritage sector. Various business support agencies will be in attendance to answer your questions and queries. The workshop is designed to foster business networks and develop sustainable enterprise opportunities locally and nationally. It is hoped that the county workshops will support the sector's continued development and reinvigoration.
Subsequent workshops are planned for Counties Waterford, Cavan and Monaghan, details will be posted on this website.
The event is free but places are limited and therefore booking is essential.
