Traditional Building & Conservation Skills in Action Exhibition

The Irish Georgian Society & Fingal County Council present an action packed two-day Traditional Building & Conservation Skills in Action Exhibition in the grounds of the OPW Farmleigh House, Phoenix Park, Dublin with demonstrations of thatching, slating, lime mortar use, repair of historic windows, decorative plasterwork and many more traditional building skills necessary for the repair of period houses. Daily programme of conservation talks. Free face painting, a Farmers’ market and free entrance thanks to the support of the Heritage Council and the Office of Public Works.
